Our oil-free screw air compressor uses a pair of primary screws, the air pressure screw and the rotating screw, to accomplish the compression process. These screws are usually made of high-strength alloy steel with precise helical shapes.
During the intake process, their helical shape forms a sealed working chamber between them. As the screws rotate, the working chamber gradually expands, allowing external air to enter via the intake port. Once the air is in the working chamber, the rotation of the screws causes the working chamber to gradually shrink. This shrinking gradually increases the compression ratio of the air, thereby increasing its pressure. The compressed air is then pushed towards the machine's outlet. The compression process generates heat, which is managed by a cooling system. To maintain air quality, the compressed air also needs to be cleaned by a filtration system to remove any potential contaminants and particles.
