Easily Worn Baler Parts

There are several baler parts that are prone to wear and tear, including:

• Needles/Knives: Needles can wear or break due to contact with hard materials. Knives are responsible for cutting the bale ties, and their sharpness may decrease over time.
• Sprockets/Chains: The power transmission system that drives the internal moving parts of the equipment may exhibit stretching, deformation, wear, or even breakage.
• Belts/Drive Belts: Including the main drive belt, feeding device belt, etc. After long-term high-load operation, belts may experience wear, cracks, slackness, and other problems, affecting machine performance.
• Hydraulic components: Such as cylinder seals, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic pumps, and motors, which are susceptible to aging and wear due to long-term exposure to high-pressure hydraulic oil and mechanical friction, causing oil leakage or abnormal operation.

• Unstable hydraulic system operation: If the hydraulic cylinder moves slowly, weakly, or leaks, it may be due to seal wear or hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, or valves having problems. The corresponding seals or hydraulic components need to be checked and replaced.
• Difficult or slow feeding: If the feeding drum or pressure drum rotates slowly, or the machine has difficulty feeding, it may be due to decreased motor power, bearing wear, or wear and tear of internal parts in the gearbox. In this case, the motor, bearings, or gearbox parts may need to be checked and replaced.
• Excessive equipment vibration: When the equipment experiences excessive vibration, it may be due to wear of the support bearings, shaft displacement, or balance destruction. The relevant bearings need to be checked and replaced, and necessary adjustments or repairs should be performed.
