A CAT 1 Quick Hitch Adapter Bushing is a small metal insert designed to adapt a lower link attachment point on a tractor from one size to another so it can use a different size of hitch. The CAT 1 designation refers to the size of the hitch, which is a standard size commonly used in agriculture for smaller tractors. The adapter bushing might be used, for example, if a farmer has a larger attachment that requires a CAT 2 hitch but only has a tractor with a CAT 1 hitch. The bushing serves as a connector that allows the attachment to be used with the smaller hitch. Most Cat 1 Quick Hitches require bushings over the lower pins to adapt the attachment to the quick hitch. These will fit over any 7/8″ pin to adapt to any Cat 1 Quick Hitch that requires bushings.

How to Install Adapter Bushing Kit

STEP 1: Use the two top link bushings to slide through the cat 1 top link pin then apply them onto the hitch. Only use the larger one bushing(id=1 in) if your top link pin is a cat 2 pin.	STEP 2: Slide the shoulder bushing through the lower link pin then make sure the holes are at right alignment.	STEP 2: Put on the rolling pin and use a hammer to tap it through the holes of the lower link pin and bushing.
