Principle of compressed air of our oil-free scroll air compressor

• Structure

  The oil-free scroll air compressor consists of two interlaced scroll screws, a fixed screw, and a rotating screw. The gap between the scroll screws forms a compression space.

• Inhalation process

  When the rotating screw starts to rotate, air enters the compression space through the inlet of the compressor. During this process, the movement of the scroll screws sucks in the air and gradually pushes it towards the center.

• Compression process

  As the rotating screw moves, the air is pushed into an increasingly smaller compression space, causing the air to be compressed. This is achieved through the relative movement of the scroll screws and the reduction of the gap.

• Emission process

  Once the air is compressed to the required pressure, it is discharged through the outlet of the compressor. In this process, the movement of the scroll screws pushes the air towards the outlet of the compressor.

• Oil-free principle

  The key feature of oil-free scroll air compressors is that they do not need lubricating oil to cool and lubricate the scroll screws. Instead, they use a special coating material, such as a polymer coating, to reduce the friction between the scroll screws and ensure an efficient compression process.
