PTO Shaft Structure

Adjusting the Length of PTO Shafts

Here are the steps to adjust the length of a PTO shaft:

• Remove the plastic protective cover.
• Shorten the inner and outer tubes as per the required length. Make sure to shorten both tubes by the same length.
• Use a file to remove any burrs.
• Shorten the inner and outer plastic tubes as per the required length. Again make sure to shorten both tubes by the same length.
• Apply oil to the inner steel tube then reinstall the protective cover.
