Installation of Worm Gearbox

1. Connect the input shaft to the motor using a flexible coupling; connect the output shaft to the machine, preferably using a gear coupling.
2. Install on a stable foundation with good ventilation and convenient filling/discharging of oil.
3. The input shaft of the gearbox should be aligned with the motor shaft, and the tolerance should meet the requirements.
4. After installation, check the input shaft manually to ensure that the nut is running smoothly.
5. Before starting, carry out a no-load test run. If any abnormality is found, correct it immediately.

Lubrication and Maintenance of Worm Gearbox

• At the beginning of 300 hours of operation, a new gearbox needs to be replaced, and then every 2500 hours thereafter. In addition, check the oil regularly and change it when necessary.
• When changing the oil, use oil of the same standard. Do not mix oil of different brands and specifications.
• Before changing the oil, flush the inside of the gearbox and drain it, then refill with new oil.
• If the temperature exceeds 80?? or any abnormal noise occurs during operation, stop the gearbox immediately for inspection and start it again after the problem is resolved.
• Regular maintenance is required. If any wear is found, corrective measures should be taken. The replacement parts must have the same accuracy as the original standard, and a no-load test run must be performed in advance.
