Installation of Worm Gearbox

1. Connect the input shaft directly to the motor using a flexible coupling;
2. Connect the output shaft to the machine, preferably using a gear coupling;
3. Install on a stable foundation with consideration for good ventilation and convenient oil filling/draining;
4. Align the input shaft of the reducer with the motor shaft, and the tolerance should meet the tolerance;
5. After installation, please check the input shaft by hand to see if the nut rotates smoothly;
6. Before starting, conduct a no-load trial run. If there are any abnormal conditions, correct them immediately.

Lubrication and Maintenance of Worm Gearbox

• Replace the gearbox with a new one at the beginning of 300 hours of operation, and then again every 2500 hours. In addition, the oil must be checked regularly and must be replaced periodically;
• Use the same specification oil for replacement, do not mix with oil of other brands;
• Before changing the oil, the gearbox should be flushed and emptied, and then new oil should be added;
• If the temperature exceeds 80??C or abnormal noise occurs during operation, immediately shut down the gearbox for inspection, and do not start until the cause is resolved;
• Regular maintenance is required, and if any wear is found, corrective measures should be taken. The replacement parts should have the same precision as the original standard, and a no-load trial run test should be conducted in advance.
