Structure of the Gearbox

The wheel shaft is made of high-strength carbon steel, with a large diameter to withstand the torsional and bending loads that may be caused by cantilever drives.

The single-piece universal housing of the SNU-V Worm Gear Unit features top and bottom flanges and a supporting flange, allowing for universal mounting positions, including low-speed, high-speed, and vertical orientations. To switch from low-speed to high-speed or vice versa, simply invert the unit and change the positions of the drain plug, breather plug, and oil level indicator.
