Worm Gear Reducer Lubrication

The gears and bearings of our Worm Gear Reducer are lubricated using oil that splashes from the oil sump. The modular series of worm gear reducers comes equipped with an oil-immersed dipstick-oil filter, which doubles as a breather. For extremely low speeds below 50 rpm, forced lubrication is necessary. The gear reducer is shipped without lubricant and must be filled with the correct amount of lubricant.
