3D Series Cast Iron QD Bushing Sheaves Pulley for "D" Belts
3D series three-groove QD bushing sheaves pulley are manufactured for D-series classic v-belts and D-banded belts; they range from 12.64" to 40.64" in diameter. Depending on the sheave size, they are made to use F or J QD (quick detachable) bushings, which we also stock. Most of our 3D QD bushing sheave pulleys are manufactured from a high-strength grade 35 cast iron, are phosphate-coated, and are painted for anti-corrosion. All of them are balanced at the factory for smooth machinery operation.

1. When replacing the pulley, first ensure that the surface of the pulley is not damaged, and apply lubricating oil to the shaft hole so that the pulley can be removed more quickly so as not to affect the subsequent use;2. When installing the tapered sleeve as a pulley, pay attention to the method of self-locking with screws, and it cannot be installed with other tools such as hammers.3. Rotate the bolts out of the fastening holes, and then screw the bolts into the dismantling holes simultaneously. At this time, the bolts need to be forced at the same time. The pulley will fall off the tapered sleeve when the dismantling holes are stressed simultaneously. The work of removing the pulley is completed.4. Put the pulley into the shaft, insert the tapered sleeve into the keyway of the post to adjust the position, send the pulley into the tapered sleeve, and then screw the bolts into the fastening holes. When the pulley is found to be offset, it can use the bolts into the disassembly hole for adjustment. When the adjustment is made, the installation of the pulley is completed. The keyway should be adequately tight in the groove of the shaft. If it is too fast or loose, it will damage the key and the track, and the belt will slip or vibrate if it is too loose. Therefore, contact the technician for verification immediately when selecting a model.
