3V Series Cast Iron Eight-Groove QD Sheaves for "3V" Belts
3V series eight-groove QD (quick detachable) bushed sheaves are manufactured for 3V, 3VX, banded 3V, and banded 3VX belts. They range from 4.75" to 33.50" in diameter. Depending on the sheave size, they are made to use an SK, SF, E, or F QD bushing, which we also stock. Most of our eight-groove 3V QD sheaves are manufactured from a high-strength grade 35 cast iron, are phosphate-coated, and are painted for anti-corrosion. All of them are balanced at the factory for smooth machinery operation.

(2) 3VX Cogged V-Belts3VX cogged v-belts are designated by having a 0.38" top-width and 0.31" thickness. Our cogged 3VX v-belts are manufactured with raw-edge sidewalls to eliminate slippage and increase efficacy, saving operation costs. They are also manufactured by ARPM standards and are oil and heat-resistant. 3VX belts are constructed from a high-quality chloroprene compound with high-strength polyester chords and have a top fabric built from a cotton polyester blend. Besides the performance, durability, and energy savings benefits, our cogged v-belts will work with existing v-belt pulleys/ sheaves.
(3) 3V-Series Banded V-Belts3V-series v-belts are a part of the "classic" lineup of v-belts because they are one of the oldest style belts used and one of the most common. Our belts are manufactured by ARPM standards and offer superior strength, durability, and performance. 3V-series v-belts have a 0.38" top-width per belt (band/ rib).(4) 3VX Banded Cogged V-BeltsAll our v-belts are manufactured by ARPM specifications and offer superior performance and durability. All our v-belts are manufactured by ARPM specifications and provide excellent performance and durability. Due to their design, banded 3VX cogged v-belts run smoother, more relaxed, and typically outlast a standard banded C v-belt. They also offer a higher efficiency than ordinary banded v-belts, which means fewer energy costs.
QD bushings are utilized throughout the industrial power transmission and agricultural industry for various sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, and synchronized drives. They are designed for easy installation and easy uninstallation; they are also commonly referred to as quick-disconnect bushings. QD bushings can help conventional mounting with the flange outboard and reverse mounting to where the flange is inboard and utilize a single split that extends through the entire bushing length. Our QD bushings interchange with other brands and are made from high-grade steel precision machined for perfect application fitment. QD bushings' benefits over different styles include; ease of installation/ uninstall, superior holding power, and extreme strengths. We stock all the standard sizes of QD bushings and supply custom QD bushings upon request, including stainless steel ones. QD bushings are found in some of the most rugged applications worldwide; contact our customer service team today for a quote or additional information on our premium QD bushings.
1. Before and after the pulley assembly, gasoline must be used to ensure that all parts are clean and dry to ensure that the mating surface is tightly matched without oil stains and has sufficient friction.2. The hexagon socket head cap bolts for assembly should also be washed with gasoline and dried before assembly. Do not apply lubricating oil or grease in the bolts or screw holes to ensure sufficient frictional self-locking ability after the bolts are fastened.3. When the three hexagon socket head bolts are about to be installed, they need to be tightened in turns to ensure that the tapered sleeve is subjected to uniform axial force and that the pulley and the tapered sleeve are well positioned coaxially.4. Check and measure the length of the hexagonal socket head bolts for assembly before installation to ensure that the assembly bolts can withstand the bottom end of the blind hole of the taper sleeve after tightening to ensure that the tapered surface fits tightly and to ensure that the bolts are subjected to the reverse thrust at the bottom of the blind hole, resulting in The anti-loosening effect of the double nut principle is the same.5. After the pulley is tightened, check and adjust the relative position of the primary and driven pulley by pulling the wire to ensure that the two pulleys are on the same plane and the belt tension is moderate.6. The pulley cover should be intact and installed firmly to ensure that the belt is broken or the pulley is loosened and withdrawn during operation, resulting in a significant safety accident.7. The tapered sleeve is a vulnerable part. It should be checked before each assembly, and the spare parts should be replaced in time if any defects are found. After a long operation, the inner hole and the chain groove may be damaged.
