Before installing the travel gearbox, ensure that the excavator is on a flat surface and the tracks are locked. Follow the steps below:
Remove the bolts that attach the old gearbox to the final drive assembly. Carefully remove the old gearbox from the assembly.
Place the new gearbox in the final drive assembly and attach it with the bolts. Tighten the bolts to the recommended torque specifications.
Fill the gearbox with the recommended oil to the correct level. Check the oil level with the dipstick.
Start the excavator and test the gearbox for proper operation. Check for leaks and unusual noises. If everything is working correctly, the installation is complete.
