KF Series Solid Shaft Output Helical Bevel Gearbox with Flange Mounted

KF series helical bevel gearbox is a new type of right angle helical bevel gearbox composed of helical gear and bevel gear transmission. KF series helical gearbox is one type with flange mounted solid shaft output. The gearbox is optimally designed in accordance with international standards and has the advantages of high precision, high efficiency, fine transmission ratio classification, wide usage range, large transmission torque, reliable performance, low vibration, low noise, flexible installation, and convenient use and maintenance for customers. KF series helical bevel gearbox is widely used in various low-speed, high-torque right-angle transmissions and is a general basic part of mechanical transmission.The basic speed ratio of KF series helical bevel gear units ranges from 5.36 to 197.37, and the combined speed ratio of the KF series and R series can reach up to 32625. Its torque ranges from 200 to 50000 N.m, and its power ranges from 0.18 to 200 kW. The input methods include direct motor connection, motor belt connection or input shaft, and connection flange input. The output modes include hollow shaft output or solid shaft output.

Proper maintenance training is necessary for getting the optimal performance and longest life out of your gearbox. Standard oil change intervals are after the first 500 hours, then every 2000 hours. Lower duty cycles or the use of synthetic oils may allow for longer change intervals. Continuous high speed or heavy-load applications could require shorter change intervals.It is also important for this industrial gearbox to maintain the proper oil level. Too little oil results in insufficient lubrication and cooling. Too much oil can cause overheating due to excess shear friction. Standard oil level sight glasses and optional external oil gauges are available to monitor the industrial gearbox oil level.The oil or grease within the gearbox lubricates and transfers heat to cool the gearbox. The majority of heat is generated by oil shear, bearing friction, and seal friction. During normal operation and speeds, the gears and bearings are adequately lubricated by oil splash and misting. An acceptable temperature range is up to 100° C (212° F), normally seen at maximum design speed. If higher temperatures are being generated, additional cooling methods will be required.
