The mudguard is a very simple but crucial part of any trailer. Fenders prevent the wheels from spraying spray and road debris.All of our trailer mudguards are made of sturdy but flexible plastic, which can be easily bolted to the trailer body or installed with mudguard brackets.If the fenders on your Erde, Daraxa, Duuo, Noval, Ifor Williams, or Independence trailer are damaged, you do not need to worry or incur costs to obtain original or matching parts. Although your trailer looks symmetrical, there is no rule that they must look the same, as long as both fenders are firmly fixed to the trailer and the size is appropriate.All trailers with wheels located on the outside of the vehicle must be equipped with appropriate fenders. They must cover at least one-third of the circumference of the trailer wheels and must be wider than the wheels.The maximum width of the trailer is 2.3 meters, including any accessories, including mudguards. Commercial trailers typically have wheels installed under the trailer body. This eliminates the need for mudguards, as they allow the trailer body to reach its maximum width

How do I choose mudguards for my wheel size?

This is the most common question we are asked! Here are three simple methods. If you have any questions, please contact us.

• Find the part code.
• Measure the span and width of the required tire or protective device.
• Identify tire size.
• The following pictures summarize these contents.

1. Find the part code.If you want to replace existing Rhino plastic or stainless steel products, there will be a part code on the protective cover.An example of a plastic part code is shown.
2.  Measure the span and width of the required tire or protective device.For the best fit, we recommend measuring the span and width of the wheels, plus a gap of 50mm to 100mm between them (smaller if you want a tight fit, larger if you need a larger gap). This will provide you with the span and width of the mudguard, which you can use to select the mudguard (as shown in the figure).
3. Identify tire size.Obtain your tire size. They appear in the form of images on the side and are located on the sidewall of the tire. Use this tire size to match our product, which lists the tire sizes that are suitable for each protective device (if known). Please follow our upcoming online tire size guide!
