Structure

Gearbox Casing: The gearbox adopts a streamlined design and is made of fine-grained cast iron. It is completely oil-proof and dust-proof and can be installed outdoors without a separate cover. The surface and aperture are precisely drilled and processed using the latest precision machinery to ensure perfect alignment and interchangeability.Worm/Worm Wheel: The worm is made of carburized, ground, and polished carburized alloy steel and is integral with the shaft. The bearing journal of the shaft is precisely ground. The worm wheel is made of centrifugally cast phosphor bronze wheel rims. The worm is machined on a dedicated worm milling machine and gas carburized and ground on an automatic workpiece grinder. The worm wheel is hobbed with a high-precision hob on a precision gear hobbing machine. Each worm wheel is checked and matched with the master worm to ensure complete interchangeability.Bearings: The worm and worm wheel are supported by ball or roller anti-friction bearings and have sufficient safety margin to withstand sufficient shaft and thrust loads. Cantilever loads generated by chain or small gear drives are generally allowed since the gearbox and bearings are designed for this purpose. However, complete and detailed information should be provided to us for confirmation. In cases where the cantilever loads are heavy, additional roller bearings can be provided.Shaft: The shaft is made of high-strength carbon steel. The shaft diameter is large, which can withstand torsion and bending loads that may be caused by cantilever drive.

Installation Position

The single-piece universal housing has top and bottom flanges and also includes supporting flanges, making the gearbox have a universal mounting position, such as low speed, high speed, and vertical. Therefore, internal components can be exchanged for all mounting positions. Only by inverting the device and replacing the position of the drain plug, vent plug, and oil level indicator can the mounting position be quickly changed from low speed to high speed and vice versa. The rugged and compact streamlined design has ample heat capacity.
