WPEDKS Series Double Stage Worm Gearboxes

The material combination of the worm and worm gear of the worm gear reducer must have both wear resistance and good running-in performance. Worm material is generally made of alloy steel or high-quality carbon steel. The worm tooth surface is subjected to carburization, quenching or nitriding, and other heat treatments to obtain higher hardness. Its hardness is generally between 35-55HRC, but there are also more than 60HRC. The material used to make the worm gear ring is tin bronze, which is the most ideal. In processing technology, the mechanical properties of centrifugal casting are the best, followed by casting with metal molds and sand molds.
