WPEDX Series Double Stage Worm Gearboxes

The double-stage worm gearboxes are one of the models in the WP series of worm gear reducers. It consists of a worm and a worm gear. It has a compact structure, a large transmission ratio, and a transmission mechanism with a self-locking function under certain conditions. It is one of the most commonly used reducers. The working environment temperature is -40℃-+40℃. When the working environment temperature is lower than 0℃, the lubricating oil must be heated to above 0℃ before starting. Cooling measures must be taken when the working environment temperature exceeds 40℃.

1. The base plate must be plain and stout, and the base plate must be screwed down and shockproof.2. The connecting shaft of the prime mover, gearbox, and operation device must be coaxial installations.3. Drivers such as sprocket wheels and gear must be fitted close to bearings to reduce the hanging shaft's bending stress.

Notice of Usage

1. Check carefully whether the gearbox model, distance, ratio, input connecting mode, output shaft structure, information and output shaft direction, and revolving direction accord with requirements.2. According to the requirements for selecting lubricant oil in the product manual, please fill appropriate categories and brand lubricant. And then, screw on the vent plug; Unlock the small cone plug of the vent plug. Only after doing this reducer is it already for starting up working. An excellent brand and adequate lubricant oil are required; changing the oil in time and conforming to the request of the product manual is also necessary, especially after using the first 100 hours, it is needed to refill new oil.3. When abnormal circumstances occur, stop and check the reducer per solutions and reasons for faults of reducer (allowable highest oil temperature is 95, under this temperature limit, if the oil temperature is no more going up, please let the reducer continue working).
