The basic structure of a worm gearbox is mainly composed of transmission parts, worm gear, shaft, bearing, box, and accessories. It can be divided into three essential structural parts: box, worm gear, and worm, approach, and shaft combination. The box is the base of all accessories in the worm gear reducer. It is an essential accessory to support and fix the shafting components, ensure the correct relative position of the transmission accessories and keep the load acting on the reducer. The worm gear is mainly used to transmit the motion and power between the two staggered shafts, and the bearing and shaft are mainly used to send energy, operate, and improve efficiency.

The space is small; the input shaft is mounted directly to the machine side, which can effectively save space.3. Low cost. Working Conditions of Cast Iron Worm Gearbox

1. The worm speed of the worm gear reducer shall not exceed 1500r/min.2. The working environment temperature is – 40 ℃ -+40 ℃. When the working environment temperature is lower than 0 ℃, the lubricating oil is heated to above 0 ℃ before starting. Cooling measures are taken when the working environment temperature exceeds 40 ℃.3. The inlet shaft of the worm gear reducer can rotate forward and backward.Precautions:1. Worm gear shaft cannot be used as an input shaft.2. The machine is not refueled when leaving the factory. It can only be operated after adding enough machine oil.3. The matching motor (i.e., power) shall not exceed the value specified on the nameplate.4. If the user wants to change the direction of the shaft, he can remove the two end covers of the lower shaft, take out the worm shaft and adjust it by 180. Load it. The second shaft can be driven slowly to make it mesh.
