Sprockets fit our entire conveyor chain range.The drive chain and the conveying chain are driven by sprockets. The uniform distribution of power depends on the precise transmission between the sprocket teeth and the chain rollers or bushes.Because sprockets significantly impact the chain's life, all challenging sprockets (from casting to precision mechanical cutting) are manufactured according to strict tolerances and quality control. We also recommend that all customers replace the sprocket when replacing the chain to maximize the chain life.

How to judge whether your chain is intact

1、 Visual inspection

1. The inner/outer chain piece is deformed, cracked, or corroded.
2. ?Check whether the pin is deformed or rotated and corroded.
3. Whether the roller is cracked, damaged, or excessively worn.
4. ?Whether the joint is loose or deformed.
5. ?Whether there is abnormal sound or vibration during operation and whether the chain lubrication is in good condition.

2、 Accuracy check

1. The chain is cleaned before measurement.
2. ?Surround the measured chain on the two sprockets, and the upper and lower sides of the measuring chain shall be supported.
3. ?The chain before measurement shall stay for 1min under the condition of applying one-third of the minimum ultimate tensile load.
4. ?During measurement, the specified measuring load shall be applied to the chain to make the chains on the upper and lower sides tensioned. The chain and sprocket shall ensure normal meshing.
5. Measure the center distance of two sprockets.

3、 Chain elongation inspection

1. ?To remove the play of the whole chain, measure it under a certain degree of pulling tension applied to the chain.
2. To minimize the error, the measurement shall be carried out in sections 6-10.
3. ?Measure the inner side L1 and outer side L2 dimensions between the rollers of the number of segments to find the judgment dimension L = (L1 + L2) / 2.
4. ?Find the chain's elongation length, which contrasts with the use limit value of the chain elongation in the previous item. Chain elongation = judgment size - reference length / reference length * 100%. Reference length = chain pitch * the number of links.
