SC Series Automatic Clutch Torque Limiter

This automatic clutch torque limiter interrupts the transmission of power when the torque exceeds the setting. To automatically re-engage the device, slow down or stop the PTO. This device is sealed, and no additional lubrication is required.The Automatic Clutch torque limiter is a radial cam-type that operates in only one direction of rotation (a reversed version is also available), ensuring torque transfer to a calibrated value, preset by a set of springs. Upon intervention, the Automatic Clutch limiter disconnects power transmission, canceling the transmitted torque to less than the residual pulsating torsional torque necessary for continuous reset. Reset occurs automatically when the transmission speed is reduced to a minimum value sufficient for the purpose after the cause of the overflow has been eliminated. The calibration torque value is preset at the factory and can be changed by the user after replacing the spring assembly.Overheating and vibrations during intervention are also reduced due to the minimization of residual moments. The compact design, low weight, use of plain bearings, and high-quality materials allow the device to be used even at speeds in excess of 1000 rpm. Hardened, slotted profile to standard.
