Product Features

These right-angle worm gear reducers provide standard NEMA C-Face replacements for IRA gearmotor products. When applications require a DC motor or other types of motor (IRA gearmotors cannot provide), this C-Face reducer can be installed using the same mounting method. Flexible IRA gear reducers offer a foot-mounted configuration with a worm or worm helical gear or a flange mounted worm gear configuration. They use forged bronze worm gears with higher strength and longer life. Roller bearings on the output shaft provide sufficient rated power for high-hanging loads. There are two double-layer oil seals on the input and output shafts.
