Installation and Precautions of Cycloidal Pin Gear Reducer

In the reducer family, cycloidal pin gear reducer is widely used in servo, stepping, DC and other transmission systems because of its small size, high transmission efficiency, wide deceleration range, and high accuracy. Its function is to reduce the speed, increase the torque and reduce the load/motor inertia ratio on the premise of ensuring the transmission accuracy. The correct installation, use and maintenance of the reducer is an important link to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing the cycloidal pin gear reducer, it must be carefully assembled and used in strict accordance with the following installation and use.

1. Before installation, confirm whether the motor and gearbox are in good condition, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all components connected with the motor and gearbox match. Here are the dimensions and fit tolerances of motor locating boss, input shaft and reducer slot.
2. Rotate the screw on the dust hole outside the deceleration triangle, adjust the clamping ring of the PCS system so that its side hole is aligned with the dust hole, and insert the tightness of the hexagonal socket. Then, remove the motor shaft key.
3. Connect the motor to the gearbox naturally. When connecting, it must be ensured that the output shaft of the reducer is the same as the input shaft of the motor, and the outer flange is parallel. If the concentricity is inconsistent, the motor shaft will be broken or the gear of the reducer will be worn.

In addition, during the installation process, it is strictly prohibited to strike with a hammer to prevent excessive axial or radial force from damaging the bearing or gear. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening them. Before installation, use gasoline or zinc sodium water to wipe the rust preventative oil at the motor input shaft, locating boss and reducer connection. Its purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and the flexibility of the operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear.Before connecting the motor to the reducer, the motor shaft keyway should be perpendicular to the fastening bolt. To ensure uniform stress, first tighten the mounting bolts at any reverse position, but do not tighten them, and then tighten the other two mounting bolts at opposite positions one by one. Finally, rotate the tension bolt. All fastening bolts shall be manually fixed and checked with torque plate according to the fixing torque data shown.The correct installation between the reducer and the mechanical equipment is the same as that between the reducer and the drive motor.  

Advantages of Cycloidal Reducer

1.  High transmission ratio. The cycloidal pin gear reducer has a higher speed ratio, and the transmission ratio is 1:7 to 1:87 when the first stage is delayed; The rotation ratio of two levels of delay is 1:121~7569, and there is a higher third level delay. The customer can also choose this example based on his own situation.
2. The transmission is subject to high. Because the meshing part of the gear surface of the cycloidal pin gear reducer accepts rotary meshing, and there is no relative sliding of the gnawing surface, the general compliance can be more than 90%.
3. Maintenance is convenient# The models below 6125 are used with higher grease that is not used for meal protection.
4. Small size and light weight. The cycloidal pin gear reducer adopts the principle of planetary transmission. The input shaft and output shaft are on the same axis, and there is an exception that is directly connected with the motor, so that its model can be as small as possible. Therefore, cycloidal pin gear reducer has the characteristics of small size, compact layout and light weight. Compared with the general two-stage cylindrical gear retarder, the volume can be reduced by more than 2/3; The weight is reduced by more than 1/3.
5. Easy to disassemble and repair. Because the layout design of cycloidal pin gear reducer is reasonable, simple disassembly and assembly is convenient for repair, the number of applied parts is small, and lubrication is short and long.
6. Long service life, low noise. Because of the principle of planetary transmission, there are many gnawing numbers of cycloidal needle teeth during operation, and the overlap coefficient is large. The whole machine body runs on average. The main parts are made of bearing steel after quenching and fine grinding, and the wear is reduced to a low level, so the noise generated during operation is low and the service life is long.
