Lubricant Requirements for Chain Drive

Assuming that the smooth oil has no good permeability, it cannot penetrate the pin shaft and roller and cannot play the role of smooth pin shaft and roller.

• It should have excellent adhesion.

The smooth oil will be thrown off when the chain runs due to the high speed. At low speed, the lubricating oil will drip due to the effect of gravity. All these will pollute the environment and products and cause a lot of waste. Therefore, the smooth oil must have good adhesion, which can be firmly adhered to the friction surface without being scattered due to various effects.

• Excellent smoothness

One of the functions of smooth oil is to be smooth. However, when chains are subjected to different effects during operation, they will have higher requirements for the smooth performance of the smooth oil. In particular, those chains under heavy load and impact conditions require extreme pressure and abrasion resistance. Therefore, ordinary chain smooth oil pays excellent attention to this requirement.
