Extreme flexibility and uniquely simple design make them also well-suited for production-line conveyors that require frequent alterationsand for flight conveyors that operate in materials that can become trapped in fully enclosed chain joints. Simple construction allows Rivetless Chains to be easily assembled and disassembled by hand. Double T-head pins are made from high-carbon steel and heat treated for long service life. These lock into sidebars to prevent rotation and can be easily reversed if one side becomes worn. The open-bearing pin design readily expels foreign materials to prevent excessive wear.
