Daily Maintenance Of Worm Gearbox

After the worm gearbox is completed, it is officially put into use, so what routine maintenance work needs to be done during the use of the gearbox? as follows:1. The working place, transmission efficiency, load capacity, and lubricant brand used by the worm gear reducer must comply with the values specified in its specifications.2. The height of the lubricating oil surface of the worm gear reducer head box should be within the height range required by the design when the worm gear is officially put into use. And check the oil supply of each lubricating oil point at any time.3. Regularly check the lubricating oil's impurities, moisture, and viscosity changes. If it is found that the standard is exceeded or not up to standard, the lubricant should be treated in time, and the bearing and oil pool should be carefully washed while changing the fat.4. During regular operation of the worm gear reducer, the temperature of the bearing and the oil sump and the noise of the reducer should be checked. If an abnormal situation is found, the cause should be stopped immediately, and it can be used again after the abnormality is eliminated.5. Regularly check the tooth surfaces of the internal gears of the worm gearbox. If there is corrosion, scratches, glued or broken teeth on the tooth surface, it must be shut down immediately and processed.

Precautions for Use

(1) Before use, attention should be paid to whether the reducer type structure, center distance specifications, transmission ratio, input shaft connection mode, output shaft structure, input shaft output shaft pointing, and rotation direction meets the requirements.(2) Fill in the suitable type and grade of a lubricating oil according to the requirements specified in "Selection of Lubricating Oil Use" on the sample. After refueling, tighten the aerator of the item part and pull out the small cone plug on the aerator before the reducer can start to operate. Must choose the appropriate brand of embellishment(3) Oil must control the appropriate amount of refueling according to the requirements of a timely oil change, especially paying attention to the first use of 100 hours after replacing new oil.(4) If any abnormal situation occurs during the use, it should be stopped for inspection in time and can be handled by referring to the table of "Fault Causes and Solutions." (The maximum oil temperature of the reducer is allowed to reach 95℃. Under this temperature limit, as long as the oil temperature does not rise, it can be used safely).
