Ensure that the shaft and worm unit holes for gear unit installation are clean and free from burrs. Apply a sufficient amount of lubricating oil on the shaft and holes to aid assembly and prevent friction corrosion. Slide the unit onto the drive shaft and fit the key.
Mount the equipment securely on a sturdy structure. Install an output extension shaft if required. The connection between shafts should use an elastic coupling, ensuring that the shaft deviation is within the coupling's tolerance range. When installing pulleys or sprockets on the two shafts, position them as close to the gearbox as possible. Do not strike the shafts when installing or removing transmission components, as this may damage the bearings.
